This is the sp...The Conservatives won the election. This is the spoils of that victory. Starting with Roosevelt, the liberal/socialist/communist faction of America has tried to stack the Supreme Court with those who would judicially produce what could not be done legislatively. In other words, their agenda for more, bigger government control was either thwarted by those in robes or, sadly, enacted by those on the Court when legislation could not be passed.

The danger of having Mrs. Barrett as the nominee, as I see it, is that the history of conservative women nominated, namely Sandra O'Connor, is that there is a tendency to soften or modify their views over time. Justice O'Connor, when nominated by Reagan was a staunch conservative. As time passed, she became, well, more moderate.

NOW is not the time for moderation. The wolves are at the doors of the Republic. We must have a majority of those who will continuously decide matters in accordance with the original meaning of the Constitution. Enough of this "living document" tripe.

As the country celebrates another birthday this week, let us hope our President is guided by the same Divine help our forefathers sought at our birth.Patrick Flynnnoreply@blogger.com
