Thank You, Willard Mitt Romney

This is a thank you note to a good man.

Thank you for turning aside from a life of ease and security to run for the presidency against an incumbent.

Thank you for enduring the slander of you, your family, and your faith perpetrated by a criminally negligent media.

Thank you for calling things such as 'terrorism' by their right name.

Thank for selecting Paul Ryan as vice presidential running mate.

Thank you -- and your lovely wife -- for demonstrating true love.

Thank you for handling yourself with grace and equanimity in every situation.

Thank you for your patriotism.

Thank you for believing in America . It is to our eternal shame that America did not, in this time and place, believe in you.

  1. I admire Mitt Romney and appreciate the attempt he made to become President of the U.S. He is a class guy who has frequently used his wealth to help others. He would have made a great President and would have brought the two parties together something the person currently running this country has been unable to do.

  2. You've got to be kidding! This clod ran a campaign that a high school prom queen candidate would have laughed at. He let Obama define him as a rich flip flopper and never took the fight back to him. He never once that I heard ever mentionedthe Fed, never brought up the ambassador getting shot, AND NEVER ONCE TOLD THE COUNTRY WE ARE GOING BROKE.
This is what happens when the party trots out these retread moderates (Dole, McCain, Romney,) who can't energize the conservatives still clinging to hope.
Face it, if you couldn't beat this guy with his record, you are so inept as to be scorned. We do not, therefore, offer thanks. Rather, we spurn you and your ilk, and implore you to stay away permanently.
