My words this morning need be brief…

Folks what’s going on in Eastern Europe now sure appears to be a surprise to some… perhaps many… and an acceptable reality to a few.  Pls let this gettin’ old ornery fella (goof) give it a quick discussion:

In America and elsewhere… we live materialism!  In Russia, China… others, it’s self-survival and committed domination.  Their histories are replete with external enemies and even some within their walls.

History’s a stinker folks and we are smack in the middle of its circular pattern of repeating itself!  America’s leadership is woefully inadequate… vote buying nonsense funded by unrepayable DEBT now dominates America… it’s simply materialism!  The consequence is bluntly visible now… our real and potential enemies know it.   They have few concerns about accelerating on their survival highway of history coupled with whatever passes through the minds of limited life span Homo sapiens.

I repeat… our materialism is self-destruction.    China and Russia know it.  It’s so simple … it’s fundamental!  Their awareness of our indulgence and addiction to materialism simply means history’s repetitiveness is going to accelerate!

Can we the people change our destination?  That folks is what used to be called the 64-dollar question!  We Americans are simply self-destroying ourselves!  Our dollars are worth much less. Our future uncertainties simply result in continuing and growing uncertainty and nonsense… my definition of materialism!  It’s simply adults hooked on 💲 costly unneeded overpriced crap 💩aplenty embracing a few moments of what us young males called… wet dreams… and now is everything butt a responsible life!

I only know this… I was born with and was taught – to survive and participate we must be responsible… we must do without… we must volunteer… and only borrow for good reason and self-commit to repay every penny owed of principal and interest.

Russia’s war

“US provides Ukraine with extra $2350 million “lethal defensive assistance“

Just read the above⬆️on the BBC network news show offered on local PBS.

My comment is simple – America had foreign help when our founders/fighters fought the Brits for freedom.   This gettin’ old ornery fella… goof… is 110% American… 100% an American taxpayer… and simply says… whatever Ukraine needs… let’s get it to them immediately… just as our allies have done… heck some were helping us ever before 1776!!

Biden and the DoD has been saying that Russia would attack Ukraine for about a couple of weeks. Why have they not acted before now. Believing that Russia would attack (at their convenience) Biden should have ordered the DoD to make those plans long before the weapons would be needed. But for Biden to order the DoD act he needed Russia to invade. But by doing that the weapons may not get to Ukraine until after it has been overrun. It is better to make the plans and have the weapons on hand BEFORE they are needed than to wait and then the weapons not get there in time and cause an ally to be defeated. We know that Russia has many times the troops and weapons that Ukraine but it must have been to hard for Biden and his DoD planers to realize that.

 The fact is I have at this site and others when it was first state that Russia planned to invade Ukraine stated that the US and Europe and NATO should move troops and the equipment needed to staging sites In eastern Europe out side of Ukraine. It would have been better to have the troops and equipment there and not need them than need them and not have it. Now if I who has had only two years of military service can see this why cannot these professional military advisors not see it? We will never know if the DoD professional military advisors to the president GIVE Biden that advise and just like he did in Kabul evacuation and not listen to them?

Also, sounds like some of our allies are moving fast to help Ukraine – lets hope it gets the job done!  BTW, the above word “lethal” means… adjective: lethal  … sufficient to cause death.  Source:  Oxford Languages

We the people who claim freedom have pretty well converted that once upon a time concept requiring 24/7 responsibility into an almost endless (a tad different… 24/7 version) repetitions of silly advertisements for costly butt unmentioned priced crapola aplenty…
